Tufffy glovebox squeak and solution

I installed my new tuffy glovebox about a month ago and like all their products, I really like it.

After a long weekend of bumpy roads, the glovebox developed a squeak that was driving me nuts. I thought it was the metal box rubbing on the mounting hardware but nothing seemed to fix it.

Then I had a new idea. I was on the trail and had some elec tape. I wrapped some tape around the post that the lock wraps around...problem solved!

I'm sure the tape will eventually wear out. When it does I'm just gonna put a bit of grease on the post instead.

Anyways, figured I'd share in case any of you have the same problem.
