topper19 on the new stye tpms sensors for jeeps the sensor can be unscrewed from the stem and the stem replaced. most tires shops charge about 5 to 8 bucks to replace each stem. they should be able to put these in your new wheels. its the same type of sensor chevy has been using for a few years ow as well.

Nek I purchased a second set of sensors for mine and from what I can see is that this model of sensor has been cheapened up so that they are a one time use. The stems are configured like standard cheap rubber valve stems and just pulled through the hole in the rims., not a threaded stem locked in place by a nut.

Tire PSI sensors

Hello, I have a 2013 wrangler and just put on new wheels. Which look amazing! The tire shop, however, said they can not put the sensors on the new wheels because they can not remove them from the stock ones...

Is this normal? And how would I go about removing the PSI sensor? So I can eventually get them back on.
