Robert C. I just did mine today and i had the same problem. Just double check the alignment of the clutch and easy it in.. i used a ratchet strap to help pull it together once i lined it up. Hope that helped

new clutch and slave cylinder

Any body have an easy way of getting the tranny back in after putting new clutch and slave cylinder on. I got a 1/2 inch to go and it seems like it wobt quite go unless i turn it a little then it wont line up. Can i turn the flywheel a lil to line it up? Im open to all ideas and solutions. 91 yj 2.5 wrangler.
