YJ fanatic I got all but the spare mounted up. Summit Racing sent the wrong rim. I like the tires so far. They look mean, and are really quiet on the road. Not much more noise than my BFG AT's. Now i just have to get off road with them.

YJ fanatic My MTZs came in today, but I'm getting them put on tomorrow. I'll post up pics when I can.

YJ fanatic Well, I decided on the Mickey MTZ's. They should be here tomorrow. I thought I was dead-set on the Cooper's, but the dealer made me a great deal on the MTZ. Only $210/tire,mounted and balanced.

bobthetj03 STT's are a bit noisier on pavement, but IMO look meaner! I've got about 6k on my STT's so far and they work in every environment I've put them on.

Gladi8r I just ordered 5 MT Baja MTZ, LT 285 /70R17's...They should be here in a few days...What do I need to buy for my stock tire carrier to accommodate the new tire size? Thanks!

YJ fanatic I think I'm going to get the Coopers, since they have deeper tread, are cheaper, and IMO look better. But if anyone else has any input, I'll definitely listen since I've got at least a few more days till I can order.

DavidW954 The shop I bought my MTZ's from said they are pretty much the same tyre, made in the same factory. The difference was basically tread pattern, on the same tyre carcass.

Sinister6 On second set of MTZ. They hook up on everything, Flex great, fairly quiet, very good road manners, bombproof sidewall, ran last set to 46K with 6/32 still left. I've walked up things that others have had to back up and pick a different line... Can't think of another tire I'd rather run even if it was given to me...

Cooper Discoverer STT vs Mickey Thompson MTZ

Hey guys, I've narrowed it down to these two tires in 35x12.50x15. Which is best all around? My jeep sees a bit of everything. Pavement, mud and trails, sand, rocks very rarely. I can get them for about the same price, but I just can't decide between the 2. Any help and insight is greatly appreciated.
