JD95YJ You don't need the trac bar back there, or the one up front for that matter. As long as the gears are still stock, they are 4.10. Search around Craigslist or you may have to find a cherokee in a junk yard and go that route. If you're going to replace the whole rear end, don't go back with a D35. You can get one out of an explorer (Ford 8.8) say from pull-a-part for about $200. You can find one with 4.11 gears and that'll work and you'll have a lot stronger rear end with beefier axles.

need a Dana 35 for a yj

I've had my yj for about two years. I've had a few problems here and there , but no I have two teeth broken off my rear pinion and track bar bracket on axle housing is broken. I would just put a ring and pinion in it , but I can hardly afford that. Do any of yall have an old one laying around. I am assuming mine is 4.10 since it is a manual 4* cyl. If anyone does have some other ratio and has front and rear that would work too. This is my daily driver and cash is very limited , so I just need to get it back on the road.
