jokerchief462 I wouldn't think Jeep produced an auto trans frame specifically. There are differences in the motor mounts for the 4 and 6 bangers. I would rend to think your should swap over if the motor mounts are the same.

That is because older models have three skid plate bolts per side. Other than that I have no idea.

Body/frame question

Hi guys and gals: My 99 TJ frame is shot and have a frame from a 03 waiting. My question is, my 99 has the 4.0 and auto. The 03 is also a 4.0 but manual. Will my 99 body an auto transmission fit on the 03 frame? Thanks in advance for your quick replies!!
