Jaxon1023 North or south? I'm near gulf shores, foley, etc and a soft top is fine for our winters here.

lynn You will need a new carrier (technically called a "case") for the rear.

Carrier splits for D30: 3.54 down/3.73 up
Carrier splits for D44: 3.73 down/3.92 up

You'll need a "4-series" carrier for the D44.

New Carrier????

I have talked to a few local 4x4 places and I have gotten conflicting info. I have an 06 LJ. I believe it has 3.73's with the auto tranny. I want to go 4.56. Do I need a new carrier?

Also looking at selling the hard top and stock soft top and going frameless, so when I get back to the states Ill be posting them for sale. Am I going to regret not having a hard top in the winter?

Thanks
Tracy
