dinorocks Wow, I contacted Diamond-Kote and they could not provide me with the procedures for applying the rust proof and under coat. Very confussed. If possible, if you have this product could you please shoot me a PM...very interested in hearing about your experience.

Diamond-Kote question

With the 2011 JKU Sahara I recently bought, I negotiated a discount for Diamond-Kote Premium Rust Inhibiting Mist and the Sound Shield (under coat). Does anyone have any info on what I should expect to see under coated? Or what gets misted with the rust inhibiting product? I could not get a straight answer from the dealer or the service guys. I see areas of the frame that are not under coated…I also see that they over sprayed the inside of my wheels and got over spray over the grey section of both bumpers. There was also spray on grass that was stuck under the Jeep…so they probably didn’t wash it before under coating. Both items have a 10 yr warranty.

I love the Jeep but experienced some of the worst service ever when buying the Jeep from the Jeep dealer (Niagara Falls, NY). Even with free oil changes, I will probably go elsewhere.
