Atthehop If they rub on full turns then all you need are a couple of washers on each wheel stop. That's all I did. Spacers will make the tires stick out even more and maintenance increased.

spacers vs other alternative!!!

Currently I own a 2000 jeep wrangler with 31" tires that rub, I would like to put some Spyder spacers on it but i don't want my tires to stick out too much. I am requesting a picture so that I can determine how the jeep would look more or less with spacers on. I want to know if 1.25 inch spacers are enough or if I would need 1.5 inch spacers.

also as a side note: are spacers a cheap alternative to a lift? would it benefit me more to lift my jeep 2 inches or so? would the tires not rub anymore if I lifted it? I do some off-roading from time to time and i'm not entirely interested in lifting the jeep. I just don't want my tires to rub and I like my stock rims.
thanks for the help guys!
