|Chrome_Locust||Yeah its about a 2 hour drive from Racine.|
|06-19-2013 02:31 AM|
|insylem||That's in Illionis, way too far for how long I'm going to be up there. Oh well.|
|06-19-2013 01:08 AM|
|Chrome_Locust||Its called "the cliffs insane terrain". They've got a website.|
|06-19-2013 12:55 AM|
I see you are in Southeast Wisconsin... I'll be there in October for my sister's weddnig.

|Chrome_Locust||"Sorry. My associate told you the wrong price. Its actually $39, 500." Thats what I got from the manager when I finally had to call them back on Monday. Knew it was too good to be true. Sure was pissed at that sales guy for wasting 4 days of my time though. Meanwhile another one I was looking at got sold. Oh well the hunt continues!|
|06-13-2013 08:51 PM|
|dawhitesJKU||might i add.... the next post we wanna see from you is a picture of you driving off in that jeep.|
|06-13-2013 08:48 PM|
its new...they had to test out the suspension first before selling it, hence the mileage.
you found a diamond in the rough...i would not hesitate to drive to the dealer asap if i were u.
|06-13-2013 08:44 PM|
|Chrome_Locust||Sorry for the double post Im on my phone.|
|06-13-2013 08:43 PM|
|06-13-2013 08:38 PM|
|Chrome_Locust||Im waiting on an email back haggling price and trade in so ill soon verify the price includes accessories.|
|06-13-2013 08:37 PM|
|Chrome_Locust||Thanks for the advice! Its only about a 2 hour drive so its not TOO far away. It has about 400 miles on it and the warning tags are still on the interior so im guessing its new new.|
|06-13-2013 08:29 PM|
You might also want to clarify if by "new" that means a "new car (Jeep)" loan rate if you're financing. Usually a percent or two different between a "new" car loan and "used".
|06-13-2013 08:17 PM|
|dawhitesJKU||^yes, OP...you need to double check. i was quoted 28k last year for one that was already lifted, 35's, body armor, winch, and other goodies. when i checked it out...the dealer installed accessories price was over-inflated to 11k.|
|06-13-2013 07:55 PM|
|Billy Baldone||Make sure he isn't selling for 23 plus the add ons. If I was still looking I would be there tomorrow morning to pick it up|
|06-13-2013 07:53 PM|
|pepatrick||I may be missing something but that seems like one heck of a deal. Its got 5-6k worth of mods on it...go for it..|
|06-13-2013 07:52 PM|
|Chrome_Locust||Ill have to drive it and see how it rides no because im not sure I can afford the regear right away. Im in talks with em about a trade in on my motorcycle so we'll see what happens!|
|06-13-2013 07:49 PM|
|Eorozco||I say do it!! You will regret not getting it at that price. U can always re gear later on!|
|06-13-2013 07:35 PM|
|Flint_Holbrook||Work with the dealer to do the gears. Offer him a grand for both ends to 4:56.|
|06-13-2013 07:29 PM|
|06-13-2013 07:11 PM|
|06-13-2013 03:45 PM|
|dawhitesJKU||Gears with master overhaul kits 550.00. Install should be between 6 and 900 for a grand total of no more than 1500.00. the best i found is 900.00 in my area.|
|06-13-2013 03:40 PM|
|WhiskeyMike||Test drive it and see if it's sluggish. It might have 3.73 gears which wouldn't require a re-gear.|
|06-13-2013 03:39 PM|
The only thing bad about posting something like this on a public forum is that you've made countless others aware of the specific jeep that you want and there's a good chance that the exact one that you are referring to will be purchased by someone else who's nearer and/or willing to pay more than you.
If you're just kicking tires, cool. But if you're serious about buying, go for a test drive and if you still like it, make an offer and go from there. Don't do any of this, "I'll think about it" bs that everyone says.
That said, the jeep sounds like a good deal. There are certain variables that I don't like about this particular vehicle, but those are largely personal preferences. Either way, you're on track to getting a new Jeep!!
That's awesome! Get excited and go git it!
|06-13-2013 03:37 PM|
|Chrome_Locust||So its going to be like $1200 PER axle? whew..|
|06-13-2013 03:35 PM|
|06-13-2013 03:34 PM|
|dawhitesJKU||get it before someone else picks it up. method wheels, upgraded tires, lifted, body armor, a winch....most of the jks run about the same price for stock. GET IT.|
|06-13-2013 03:28 PM|
|Duckquackers||Looks like a good set up and most aftermarket parts are only covered by the respected manufacture not dealership. Swap of axle is about 1500 I just did mine with a rear locker for 2200 and went with a 4.56.|
|06-13-2013 03:23 PM|
|Chrome_Locust||Any idea what gears and labor are going to run me? $1200 or so? Just trying to figure out if stock gears are something I can deal with while I save up for a bit.|
|06-13-2013 03:16 PM|
|Chrome_Locust||I'm on a tight budget and this is RIIIIGHT at the edge of what I wanted to spend. I had entertained the idea of some that were right around $20k with no AC no accessories and then found this one.|
