|AllMudd||Are you referring to the TC skid plate as the shovel? If so yes that's where it goes if it didn't you would not be able to drop the TC/TRANS enough to accomplish what you are trying to do, with keeping the Trans mount.|

|AllMudd||Not sure what your really asking. But the TC lowering lowers the whole driveline to make he driveshaft angle less (in degrees).|

TC drop questions.
I am in the process of installing a 1 inch t-case drop(don't have the funds right now for SYE and new drive shaft). I guess I was confused about the intended purpose of the shovel. As I was removing the bolts on the frame I got one side loose and proceeded to fully remove the other and when I did the tranny and the case both dropped. I had a jack read so luckily it didn't fall far. But is it intended to be the tranny mount as well? Or am I missing something? I was under the impression that I had to remove it first then the mount.
