rijowysock my other option was running 16.5" 8 bolt beadlocks (h1 wheels but remade for 5x5) with 3.5" backspacing.. and then same 33" size tires... i would assume that the h1 8 bolts might run a little wobbly like they do on the h1's however.

Who all is running cragar 17" Wheels? (Soft 8 or D window)

been looking at the 17" D windows.. 17x8 +0 (4.5" backspacing) and wanted to run them on some 33's at stock height,.. curious if:

A: i know the wheels are just steelies, but i assume quality is good and wheels ride true/straight? (i'm not looking to win a fashion show, just something that is sturdy and cheap)

B: curious if the 4.5" backspacing would be good for a 33" tire @ stock height..... honestly dont want to lift the vehicle much, would level it if anything.
was looking at 285/70.17 or something around there.

thank you..

any help would be appreciated, assumed some stock tires (moab) are 32" so a 33" shouldn't be pushing it with 3.73 gearing on M/t... not looking to raise height but just add a little more utility from the vehicle and have it look/work properly as well..
