aelwero pretty sure my 232 was low 30's... I would think a 258 would be the same. In any case, mine was VERY tolerant of bad dwell and gap adjustments

HIGHLY recommend you go HEI... the difference on mine was spectacular. easier starts, more power, and much higher gas mileage.

Anybody know what the dwell angle is for a 1974 CJ with a 258 CID???
