|TheTJRod||Wow, nice pic. When I got home from work I checked under the front and sure enought the track bar wiggled its way loose and was just lying there. Luckily the nut was kind enough to hold on the whole way home and was waiting in place for me to reattach the track bar. With that my steering control way restored. Thanks for the help.|

|1BLKJP||Is the steering wheel way worse in one direction or the other when you are going straight now? If so then odds are you bent either the tie rod or drag link. Otherwise I would seriously check the pitman arm to make sure it's not cracked or the sector shaft on the steering box isn't broken. To me this is what it sounds like.|

[checck track bar bushings and tie rods, check sway bar links, check at the pitman arm.check for anything loose that has to do with the steering linkage and front suspension.
the way you are explaining it. the problem should be pretty easily identifiable.
refer to below pic.

Steering gone bad?
On my way back from a drive on some unpaved roads on a plantation I noticed a very concerning problem. When I go to turn right I have to over steer considerably, I also have to over steer when turning left but no where near as much. My turning radius is much wider than it should be too. I didn't have a chance to check under the Jeep as with was raining so bad, and I took my car to work because I don't trust it on the road right now. When I bought it, it had a lift already installed. Though I don't know what type it is or how much lift, all I know is that it has Bilstein 5100 shocks. I want to know what I should be looking for when I get back home today. I am thinking that the sway bars got disconnected. I haven't had it pull to one side before but the steering wheel did always tilted to the right quite a bit to be going straight.
Oh I have a 2003 sport.
