billhenry Have you done any work on the jeep? Jeep requirements of tires are different according to your road. In my opinion just consult with any mechanic.

Big Cole Have you considered dropping down to 33s? It doesn't sound like your rig is properly equipped to run 35s.

Tire look and Road performance

I think I should give a little background info, so you guys know where I am coming from. I am brand spanking new to jeeps, and I inherited this jeep from my dad who just bought it for its looks. He didn't do any off roading and doesn't know much about it, so I can't really ask him for help on it, so I am on my own on this one. I currently have 35X1450-15LT Pitbull tires on my 97 tj with a 6" lift. I think it looks badass but it is a little hard riding on the road and doesn't seem so accelerate or go very fast. It supposedly has DW issues according to my dad, but I have yet to see a problem. So my question is what road tires will be just a big and badass, or close to as possible, to these tires and still work well on the road. I might want to do a little mudding later, but it isn't my main concern yet. Thanks for the help and excuse the long post haha
