Thanks again. I'm pretty happy with my stock Jeep right now too. Heck, I'm getting around 18 mpg! That's a big difference from the old pickup truck I was driving. I'm inclined not to mess with things for a while. I appreciate all the info.
My wife, kids and I go up there in about 4 weeks to explore. I'm excited, can't wait to see the Poconos!

|95YJ_in_NEPA||Hey Dave, as for mods I don't really have a lot. I take my doors off and have went down 84 going 70 seen many state troopers and they have never said anything. I see plenty of people with winches so I would say they are alright. I have KC Daylighters on my front bumper used as fog lights. I need to rewire them because I asked a state trooper and you need to have them wired so when u turn the high beams off they shut off also. I would suggest some fog lights, because one thing we got here is deer, the destroyer of vehicles, and remember never swerve, plow right through em! I don't really have many mods so I can't help you there but, I would just read up on it and make sure because cops are pricks.|

That sounds like what I've got. Good to know!
I was reading in another forum that PA has a lot of laws that affect Jeep owners. Not supposed to take off the doors, nothing that sticks out farther than the stock bumper (winches), restrictions on after market lights...
Is it that tight on mods there?

|95YJ_in_NEPA||I'm not sure, 235/75-15 is what I have on, Goodyear Wranglers, they work fine in mud, snow, rain, trails, pavement.|

|DaveLions||Thanks! Are you using stock tires?|

|95YJ_in_NEPA||How ya doing Dave. I'm from Hawley which is literally like 30 minutes away from Milford. Four wheel drive is a must for the winter of course but it's not like you drive around with it in four wheel. Just those times you get stuck because of the crappy state plow jobs. If you are really worried about the snow or ice you could get studs but I never have a problem with my normals tires. Other than that you don't really need anything special just willing to have a good time.|

Anybody from Pocono Mountains?
I'm going to be moving up to the Pocono mountains in about a year, probably Milford. Is anyone from that area? If so, could you give me some feedback about how well your Jeeps do up there for regular driving and if there are any must have mods for mountain/snow country?
