Not at all worried about tire coverage. I want room for bigger tires and more flex!

OffRoadCam09 Alright here we go guys. Very simple install. the front are all bolt on and the rear have 2 bolts then you have to drill 5 small holes and use self tapping screws.

Jeepguy7972 Just got out of body shop after rear end by a DUI. Had them upgrade my fenders. I didn't install them but body shop guy said they are pretty easy. If you want to keep your liners you'll have to do some trimming. But I like them off.

OffRoadCam09 I'll post a few pics of the flares. They also say in the directions that you may have to enlarge some of the mounting holes slightly an that the factory fender liners will work with some modification

13jwrangler Word. Sounds good man. I'll be getting mine pretty soon hopefully.

OffRoadCam09 Having back problems an have been able to move much so install is having to wait till next weekend sorry to disappoint. Will still post some pics of the flares if I get a chance

13jwrangler Sweet deal man. I'm glad you followed up like you said you would. I can't wait to see them installed!

OffRoadCam09 Just letting everyone know I got the flares yesterday an they were packaged very well, each individually wrapped an also did a test fit an each lined up correctly. They seem to be fully bolt on so shouldn't take long at all after the removal of the factory flares. Will be doing the install this weekend so ill chime in again then

13jwrangler It's going to be a little while before I get the fenders. I decided to put these off for a while but I still plan on getting them. Once I have them installed I will post pics and write a detailed review.

tnjeeptj I'm thinking about purchasing these too so I'm looking forward to your pics. I'm curious to know how easy it is to mod the wheel well shroud after the stocker fenders are removed. I'd really like to keep some material in this area to protect from the elements.

13jwrangler I plan on posting pics of my install as I go along. I know that's why there's directions but hell, I'm gonna do it anyway. I plan on getting them sometime next week so if anyone out there is interested to see how they turn out, check back here in a couple of weeks!

gr8fulKID These fenders look really nice.. Id imagine that you would want to hit them with a can of bedliner and prepare for a pain in the ass install, but I could be wrong.

Thanks mainly was looking into if there is any drilling or such with these? I was between these or the rugged ridge, would prefer to have fender liners so ill figure a way to make that work

OffRoadCam09 Anybody install these yet? How was it? Any problems?
05-10-2013 05:47 PM
gsn Put this in google: smittybilt xrc fender flares jk

You will get many comments and pictures among which,

I was looking at these to buy them a few weeks ago. I believe they are a great deal. But I'm debating whether to get these or just the stock plastic ones shorter and flatter.

The install is rather easy. The only issue comes from cutting the inner fender liner if you want to keep it, but that can be done easy with large scissors, sawzall or dremel.
