dawhitesJKU For tires, I suggest u go to ur local shop and do a trade in on the tires u have so u can live within ur means (500-1000). As far as lift., you WILL encounter driveline issues since u do go offroad with the height u want. If ur planning to go high, I would have extra money in the bank. 4 inches WILL alter geometry and u will need control arms to fix that.

I suggest staying at 2.5, get front lowers and rear uppers since u go offroad. That's all u will ever need. If u plan on going higher, expect to purchase front uppers and rear lowers.

Lift advice!

Ok guys I need your expertise...I have a 2012 Sahara Unlimited (manual.) I put 285/70r17's on a year ago since it was the biggest I could go without needing a lift...but now I'm ready to be a big girl and put a lift on (and most likely move up to 35's) I do moderate off roading so obviously I do want something that's gonna improve capability there, something that still has an aggressive look to it (I'm thinking 3-4"), but DOESN'T take away the very smooth ride I have (I'm sorry but it's my everyday vehicle!)

Since I'm going to be spending a big
chunk on tires again my question is is it possible to stay in the $500-$1000 range and find what I'm looking for?

Keep in mind that I understand the basics but this is my first lift 😁
