tomjeep Just got em yesterday and they completely changed the look of my jeep (for the better). Have not taken them offroad yet but based on what i had, which were bald straight up street tires, im sure they will be lightyears better. Also give just a little hum which to me is a good thing.

TA462 What size are they? I ordered 31x10.5x15's and they won't fit even though numerous people on this site said they would. They rub in the front end, easy fix by adjusting the stops but they rubbed on the driver side rear spring perch. Not good.

Stevenkrans Had mine a year...some mud, trail and highway driving. I enjoy them, no signs of wear and still have nubbies on 'em!

TJNewbie You'd be surprised at what your jeep can do without a lift and some aggessive tires 30s or 31s. With the lift and bigger tires just comes more clearance for more challenging stuff.

MOTJ Yes, I know, I had been eyeballing the Authority's for months and when the price came down I almost grabbed a set. I have 31 ˝ tires on the Jeep now and with no lift it’s just a Mall Crawler.
I was tempted to go with the $82.00 Wal-Mart Wranglers, I'm hoping the TA's work out much better.

I went with the BFGoodrich Rugged Terrain T/A - P235/75R15/XL 108T from Sam’s.
I'm sure those will do great in the rain and maybe in the snow too. but they'll get clogged up easily if you encounter a mud hole or clay.

the Authority's and Duratracs will do great off road

$133.42 plus mount and life time balance minus $50.00 for a 4 tire purchase was $584.25

TJNewbie I know some guys at work that have them in that size, and they really like them. other people I've spoken to about them liked them too. I almost bought them, but tire rack put the Duratrac 33x12.50x15s on sale $165 a tire plus the $80 rebate, just b4 I got the walmart tires, so I went with the Duratracs.

Goodyear Wrangler Authority. Any Good?

Anyone running the Goodyear Wrangler Authority Tires from Wal-mart? They have 31x10.50x15 for $148 and they look like the Duratracs. I can get 5 for $740 plus tax.I really like the looks of the tire but don't know anyone who has them.....I hate to buy them just because there cheap.

Thanks,
Littlejoe
