Likewise. I know that every manufacturer has paint issues now and then, but peeling before I've even owned it a year (and the vehicle itself is only 13 months old) is a bit over the top, IMO.

Gort I've got a 12 JKUR w/painted fenders. Paint was peeling on the fenders, dealer repainted them under warranty. Now the paint is bubbling/peeling on the door hinges on the front passenger door. It's going back next week to have THEM repainted, too.

The worst part is that the thing is less than a year old, is garage-kept, and waxed every 3-4 months (as are all my vehicles). This has me curious as to what's going to peel after the 3/36 expires?

Maybe I'll park it outside instead in order to accelerate the other impending paint fails in the hope that they appear while it's under the 3/36 warranty...

Freddy The dealership changed out the entire piece. No one can figure what made the paint peel and the only thing I've done was wash it.

jkjeeper06 On the silver trim piece I'm assuming? I've only ever seen stains on the rear one. I've never seen paint peel

Peeling paint

Hello, everyone. I'm very new to this forum and thought I'd jump in and ask a question.
I have a 2012 Wrangler Unlimited Altitude Edition. The other day I noticed the paint around the fog lights was peeling. I brought it to the dealership (it's under warranty) and one of the employees mention that he's never seen something like that before. Has anyone here had the same or similar experience?
