sfhock Go for the 13-hour ride home. It'll be a great "bonding" experience with your new ride, plus if it truly has everything you want, it's worth the trip!!

TruBlu24 I have a soft top on my 2013 2dr FE. Which is actually a factory Rubi build with FE add-ons. I want a hard top for mine, and will be selling my premium sunrider. You can message me if you are interested, but know that I don't have the hard top yet so I can't sell right away.
Also, I went over 8 hours away to get my FE, because it was the one I wanted. I would have gone farther, and made a vacation out of it, to get what I wanted and bring it home. Chase your dreams. You're spending alot of money, get what you really want.

ninjaturtle0 if you going to have a hard top then getting a frameless soft top would be easier to manage because you won't have to deal with the hardware from a full softop

mason93 If you want to buy a new one get a supertop nx. I got one for my TJ that came with just a hardtop and I'm happy with it. Or you could look on craigslist and find one cheaper it just may take a bit longer.

Another thing you can do is see if any of the dealerships in your area part of chains, and look at their other dealers inventory. The dealer that I worked at had some sister dealers in other states. If somebody wanted something from one of those dealers we would send one of the lot attendants up to pick it up and drive it back.

Might buy a 2013 Rubicon today - best place to find an inexpensive soft top?

Been looking to buy a 2013 Rubicon the past month and I'm close to pulling the trigger today.

I have been looking for dual tops but am having difficulty finding the Jeep I want with all the features I'm looking for including a dual top.

I came across one that is extremely close at a local dealer but it just has a hard top.

Where do you experts suggest I purchase a soft top? Dealer? After market products?

Or - should I fly to Chicago and buy the one that has everything - including a 13 hour ride home...

Thoughts?
