woansleftpeg Unfortunately the problem lies with the puny factory amp. Short of upgrading the amplifier to an after market unit, you're stuck with what you've got I'm afraid. Have a quick look around the forum for threads on the premium audio package and you'll see it's a common complaint, and rightly so - it's offensive that Jeep charge money for such a pathetic "upgrade".

2013 4 door sport sub issues

I just got a 2013 4 door sport with a stock sub and the sub is horrible. There is no bass what-so-ever and it sounds really flat, even with bass all the way at the 9 setting. I just traded my 2010 sport and the sub on that one was amazing and had lots of bass.

Is something wrong with the sub? I've felt it and it seems to be working, but it doesn't even sound like theres a sub. I was told its a low frequency sub, but even at lower frequencies it sucks.

What can I do to remedy the situation without having to change head units, speakers, or the sub out for new ones?
