charslo i'm 5'3" and i have no issues driving my baby!! it's even got a 2.5" lift and getting in isn't all that difficult haha bit of a stretch but, better than trying to climb into the bf's truck

play with all the adjustments, it'll fit!

ltsrapcon My wife is 5'3 I'm 6'5 neither of us have any problems with the Jeep. We both LOVE driving it.

MarcelOrtiz well if she was 6' she would have her knees in the dash while the sit is all the way to the back. i actually think she fits better than the rest of us. the smaller you are; the bigger the jeep fits=more comfortable vehicle.

Burger16b My gf is 4'11" and has a problem driving my jeep she says its hard for her to push the clutch all the way and she has to sit to close to the air bag.

Yeah. Its a bit much, but I guess its ideal for when an airbag goes off. The new bags ain't as bad.

The space is what gets me. I see people with the wheel up and their chest close to the wheel all the time. Gotta aim that wheel lower and back off it.

RoadiJeff My wife is just a fraction over 5'-0" and our 2013 Sahara is her DD. She doesn't seem to have any trouble driving it, although she has repeatedly said NO when I tease her and ask if she wants a lift kit for it.

She does have pedal extenders on it. Those are a good idea if someone is so short they would otherwise be pressed up against the airbag to reach the pedals.

The other day she was saying something about how tall it is and I mentioned that the badge on the side says "Trail Rated" and not "Midget Rated".

She liked that one.

I worry about my better half getting to close to the air bag, even the newer ones.

BadOleRoss I would leave the seat right where it is and keep her from driving it! More seat time for you!

I'm 6'2" and having rock rails was helpful for me too!

Newt1234 We will take a closer look at it later...I might just make her think she can't drive it.........

Scott2373 Yup, I've got a "shorty" for a wife as well, at 5'1". She's driven my Jeep with little to no issues, once she found the right combination of seat height and forward adjustment. Tell her to play around with it until she finds the right setting.

Blackpony04 My wife is 4'10" and has no problems finding a comfortable driving position. She does have the seat pumped all the way up and as far forward as it will go if that helps any. But it is her daily driver and trust me when I tell you that she wouldn't hesitate to complain about it if she wasn't truly comfortable!

benjamin.allen She should be fine my wife is 4'11" and she has no issues driving i would play with the seat adjustments some more

Welding Rod Dumb question but Have you tried lowering the seat?
07-07-2013 01:14 PM
Newt1234 Maybe it's just her short legs lol

Too short for wrangler???

So due to my wife's hatred of car dealers I bought my '13 JK without her ever seeing it until I drove it home. Needless to say she absolutely loves it but today she wanted to drive driving and found that she was too short???

So she is about 5'3" and when she got in her knees were pushed up against the dash to reach the gas and brake pedals. She played with the seat, the steering wheel and everything she could try to make it work but just couldn't get setup without her knees against it.

Oh well, guess I will have to drive it more haha
