live_slow Adding a coil spring lift "kit" that replaces the factory springs and shocks would net the same "lift" on a Sport or a Rubicon.

Maybe settle on a tire and wheel combination that will work best for you, and then determine where to go from there.

Lots of dudes run 2.5 lift and 35s. IF you flex out and find you need to trim or get flat fenders, that ain't no big deal.

2.5" (actual) and trimmed flares can fit a 37" tires nicely avoiding steering/driveline issues.

kjeeper10 Above stock average which is about 201/4 front and 211/4 rear.

I see this all the time. "I just installed 19/60's and got 2.0" of lift.
Yes .... You are higher but not compared to the same jeep with 2.0" lift coils.

Plus, aftermarket coils are rated for weight ie bumpers/winch/tire carrier/etc. it's not uncommon to see 1" more with no weight.

This is my 2 door with RK 2.5's/35's and no weight.

3.5" of actual lift

JC Baron Kinda, but need to expand, say I get the AEV 3.5 kit- it will allow 35" tires "on stock?". I have a rubicon, is that "a"3.5 above stock, or "b" 3.5 above my rubicon which might actually allow 37"s. Considering rubicon springs are taller than stock to permit 32.5 km2s?

kjeeper10 I will also add. Most manufactures make different coils for 2 door and 4 door.

No .... All said and done the same.

Yes the shorter springs will see more height but the longer will see less.
At the end the height will be he same.

This what you are asking ?

Lift ? Rubicon vs non rubicon

I want to lift my rubicon for 35's. Question is, the rubicon factory springs allow for 32.5" tires, will a 2.5 lift above and beyond a stock rubicon or do I have to go 4.5 lift to do that? IE: AEV 2.5" on stock will allow 33's, on rubicon does it allow 35's????sorry if a noob?, have seen no threads bringing this up.
