sparky I would not use both. Each of them make your antenna longer and adding both will give you tuning issues. If you are using a 4' or shorter Firestick you don't need the spring.

However if you are set on this, spring on the bottom, then disconnect, antenna on top.

Which Connects First . . .

Installing a new CB and antenna and would like to know whether the quick dis-connect should be attached to the mount first and then the spring, or the other way around.

Your help is appreciated!
