That is not too bad. I have been using a 220 Lincoln arc welder for projects for the past 30 years. I have been wanting something with more capabilities but I just don't have the need for more stuff in the garage. But this thing looks very interesting and not too cumbersome.

Dusy is fun, did that 3 years ago. Not as hard as it was made out to be.
Loved the scenery and was fun camping

aw12345 Some Sunday or Monday night will work for me.
Pic a date
Gotta tackle that left line at the Gate Keeper darn tires slipped off was to far to the right.
Little pull to the lft then a tug to the right and onwards. Had a blast puttering through JB
07-30-2013 10:37 PM
WOKNROX Hellz yeah I'm up for a night run....when you thinking?
07-30-2013 10:34 PM
WOKNROX Yeah....looking at it ..it does look better though...
Did you see my high steer pic a few post up?
As soon as I make the new links I'll be going reverse steer using Harsh industry arms on my d44

aw12345 Was on John bull yesterday afternoon tried something creative at the gatekeeper. Didn't work as well as I had envisioned

Decided I needed some mountain air today, so went out to Big Bear and roamed around had a ball
Had so much fun on John Bull it's almost criminal.
Finally tried to tackle the gatekeeper all the way on the left didn't quite go as planned lol.
Oh well lil pull to the left then a quick pull to the right and all was well with the world again.
Trail is wonderfully dug out haven't had this much fun on that trail in years

John Bull 006 by aartjestaartje, on Flickr

Climbed the baddest obstacle on the trail all the way on the left, crawled right up and over, pretty cool

John Bull 007 by aartjestaartje, on Flickr

Lil ways after Holcomb on 2n08 I came across a Lynx, pretty lil kitty cat
That was cool
So here is a question anybody up for a Night run John Bull Holcomb Dishpan or Motino? Goldmountain can be thrown in the mix too if need be.
Love night runs

It'll still hit, you end up finding bigger rocks with somewhat same results, ask me how I know
Have straightened the damn thing close to 10 times. Atleast it doesn't collapse. Pretty much hits the diff cover before it bends to far.

How much is involved in getting a welder set up to use on the trail. Will 70 amps do? How many amp A/C inverter is needed to operate it?

I've heard long arm kits on LJ hang awfully low and drag how true is that?
Pshhh forget the kits buddy! Let's start on that mid arm build!

One thing I forgot to tell you is that you should just outboard the shocks and coil correct like Bill's while you are doing everything. I didn't on mine and kinda regret it now. Don't want to replace my pretty much new shocks so I'm running this way for a while.
