Until you understand what lengthening the control arms and trackbars does, do not change the length from stock. You could put yourself in a world of hurt. Read up on pinion angles and caster angles before changing control arms. And the above advice us good for the trackbars, but I'd lower the estimation of length to closer to 1/2". It doesn't change much. I think I made mine like 9/16" longer with a 2.5" OME lift.
But regardless of what people say you need to extend them too, it comes down to you having to know what they do and changing their lengths to the correct amount so the axle is in the correct position. So what does this mean? Start reading and searching. Google will be your best friend for the next week or so.

|Rubicondon53||Mine has an OME 2.5" suspension, I'm in the process of replacing my track bars and lower control arms with stock length OEM bars and stock length arms... With only 2" of lift you will be fine setting everything to stock, except your rear track bar.. After removing the stock bar, ( ball park) extend your new one 1". OME furnishes a bracket that does this in order to retain the stock bar.... You could add maybe 1/4" length to the front lower control arms, but not necessary...|

Thanks for the info. Since I already have the adjustable parts. Should I set them to stock lengths or lengthen them in places?

|Dextreme||Oh, and for 2"...the stock Arms work just fine. In fact the stock arms are better than most of the aftermarket arms on the market unless you step up to JJ Joint arms or something comparable (Duroflex Joint).|

You are likely going to get lots of theorys/opinions, but honestly for a 2" lift it does not have to get complicated with all those parts unless you want to upgrade for strength. Many people run a 2" BB or 2" Springs and run 2" longer than oem shocks, stock swaybar links, stock track bar, and extended bump stops.
There is a good chance you just need to install some quality shocks. (OME, RS9000, OR 5100 Bilstein)

Newbie Lift Questions
I just bought a 2001 Wrangler Sport. It came with a 2" lift (using Springs). 32 x 11.50 R 15 tires. Being a newbie jeepster I noticed the rear end seems to sway a bit, maybe it's normal not sure. Also I am getting a bit of frontend wobble around 55 MPH. It looks like everything under the jeep is original but larger springs or maybe a spacer at the top. So I decided to replace all the 12 year old bushings.... then decided it would be easier to replace the parts instead of each bushing... then decided if I am spending the money why not get adjustable ones... So now I have everything or its on the way. New adjustable control arms (up to 8"), new adjustable track bars, new adjustable sway bar ends, New steering kit (arms and bushings) non-adjustable except the standard threads.... So I am working on it and realized I don't understand where and how much to adjust everything or when it's sitting correctly when done... My main objective is for everything to be a bit tighter at this point... It will mostly 85% of the time will be city/hwy driving... We want to hit Jeep trails on the weekends... I don't see us doing real extreme rock crawling in the near future... and feel I can readjust things latter if we need more lift... so here are my questions.
1) To keep my 2 inch lift and give a better ride should extend any of the arms, links or bars?
2) don't understand if I were to extend the control arms would you extend just the top ones 2" or top and bottom 1" each?
3) Wouldn't the sway bar links and track bars need to be lengthen 2"?
4) how can you tell it's all set right? Do you just measure the each thing and hope it's all right or do you do some fine tuning when done? OR does the alignment shop make it all good?
5) Steering arms... wouldn't they need to be lengthen as well?
6) bump stops: It looks like mine have been removed good for travel but it's hitting the body a nice knocking. I see where it just missed the brake lines. Guessing I should add a bump stop.
I think these are all of my questions for now. I am a newbie but have been working on cars for years (building a kitcar), but Jeeps are a lot different underneath.
