MR.CLIFFORD Battery Temp Sensor. From my small recollection of what it does I believe the PCM monitors the battery performance in regards to heat. To hot?? It's a kill switch so to speak. Does it always work?? Nope!

Quick Question

Im sure the answer to my question could easily be found in the manual if I had one but I don't so hopefully you all can be of some assistance. I recently took the battery out to charge it and noticed that there was some sort of flat sensor or so underneath the battery. Can anyone tell me what that is and what its' purpose is? Thanks
