Dana 44 Front TJ questions

I bought this jeep off craiglist quite a while ago, and I have just about replaced everything on it that they did to it. as a gift they sold it to me with new Rubicon Dana 44's on the front and back. I don't know if this is a common upgrade but I would like to talk to someone who has done this with their TJ. This is because I was putting on a new and better diff cover and I realized that the steering stabilizer was rubbing on it. Thanks to a a little fabrication I got it to work. I just don't want to be on the trail and blow my steering stabilizer I also don't want to mess up my pretty new diff cover with constant contact from the shock bracket. Photo is how they welded the axle boxes and brackets.
