the "correct length" is whatever you set the adjustable uppers AND lowers to in order to achieve the caster YOU desire.

The length somebody else runs is irrelevant - only a guide. Part of setting up your jeep correctly is about setting your axle position by checking full bump, full flex and full droop with the springs removed. You set your caster/pinion angle to get what YOU want, and extend the bumpstops the necessary amount to prevent interference issues and suspension component damage.

PRS Death wobble is typically associated with play or looseness in the steering or suspension. The length of the uppers should be what is necessary to get the caster as close to specs without moving the front pinion to driveshaft angle from 1 to 1 1/2 degrees down. With 4 inches of lift you will not likely get the caster back to 4 degrees with out exceeding 1 1/2 degrees on the pinion/driveshaft angle.

4" lift upper front control arm length to correct castor angle?????

Thought I had it right!! shortened the front uppers to 18" from 18.75. Seemed to work for a while, then the dreaded death wobble returned!! Does any body know the correct length? It should I just keep f****** with it until I get it right or go crazy!!
