Timberwolf 4cyl or 6?

90 was the last carb on the 4.2 6cyl, 91 went to fuel injection on a 4.0

Mowrangler As long as they were both V belts you should be OK if it one has a flat belt it probably has a reverse rotation water pump then it wont.

ddtt225 the one belt sould be fine, most of the time the 2nd belt is an accessory belt that just powers one or 2 pulleys since it wasnt designed to travel the whole belt length. mine is a 95 with the original motor and it just has one drive belt.

Two belts vs one

My engine blew up and it had two belts that ran it and the replacement engine has one does that matter? Mine YJ is a 90 and the replacement is out of a 91 would that also matter?
