dcmtex Simple drop in. A Locksmith can key it for you. Its a cartridge replacement from jeep.
Tuffy would be better though I did the factory first but ended with the Tuffy.

BigCrave Pick up a used one from a salvage yard and just don't use a key if you don't want it to lock. I picked one up cheap and re-keyed it using the tumblers from my old one just in case I wanted to lock it.

Center Console Lock

Same story as everyone else my center console lock/latch whole thing broke. Pretty sad how it broke. I put my key in to unlock it and when I pulled the key out it pulled the whole lock mechanism out. I want to replace it with just a push button just how it is but with no lock. Has anyone found a part that describes this?

I do not want a lock because I think it is a) p.o.s. b) a joke for my center console. I will not spend $350 to replace the center console and get the tuffy. I just can't justify that so please don't suggest it.
