Allegheny Forest - Northern Pennsylvania

Did my first serious off-roading today on some trails in Allegheny Forest, a state forest in northern Pennsylvania. We had a ton of fun, and learned a lot. I specifically learned the reason you should not wheel alone, or at least have a winch! The picture of the mud pit we got seriously stuck in! We went in and just sunk, it was slightly over the Ace Rock Rails. Finally got us out my turning the wheel left and right and going back and forth, but it was seriously dicey for a few minutes. Wont do that again without a winch or another person nearby!

It was a ton of fun though, and I learned just how capable my Jeep is. Its just a standard Freedom Edition, 3.21 gears, no lockers, the only thing I upgraded was I put 32" BFG Mud Terrain KM tires on, which I am very thankful for since they got me out of that mud! But anyways, it did awesome, there were some steep parts, went over some small trees, through mud, around and in between trees, just so much fun!
