jeeper's creepers HI Cory, I'm also new to this forum and I recently bought a jeep wrangler myself. It looks like your jeep is maroon, so is mine, with the same color hardtop. I want to make my jeep look like yours...it's so nice looking and totally functional. By any chance it's a 2001? Anyhow, welcome aboard!

TooTallTolar Welcom pilgrim ... nice looking jeep and don't worry about the manual tranny, i've been driving a manual around the farm ever sense I was 12 and I still stall out every now and then.

BeepBeepImaJeep haha! So funny story, Today i was driving with some friends to meet up with some girls we had plans with, being that my jeep is new they made me drive it, well all went well up until time for me to go home.

and right in front of the chick I've been crushing on all summer, i stall out trying to talk to my friend who was jacking with my radio. i turned as red as my jeep, lol it was pretty bad.lucky it just died, it didn't buck or anything.

just thought id tell you guys my epic failure story. =D

(4th day driving standard tranny)

+1 Midland, TX here. it will chills me down nicely even on a 100 degree day.

Levinoss Yea, like island said there is no reason for you to be hot in a TJ of all things. islandmonkey I live in hot area in summers (st simons island, GA) It can be 100+ here, with softtop on, my AC blows ice cold, do not get me wrong, I am a major sweater, but i am still ok with softtop and AC on. Top it up with freon in my opinion

Hope that helps

Any tips/suggestions?

I understand the seals aren't the best and the insulation is bear minimum.

*remember in Texas I'm rolling in 99-103 degree days.*

machocheese Very nice indeed

Is it just me, or does his first pic look like a very detailed small scale model... kinda like a toy train set.

Not flaming ya Cory...but I think your blackberry has the power to turn everyday objects into shrinky-dinks. :P

BeepBeepImaJeep Thanks BTG!

cat, i mean id really need reference to know if its coming out hard enough, but compared to my previous car (mothers 2nd car, a 2008 subarau tribeca) it spits out cool but not really cold air, and its pretty weak for full blast, my jeeps 4th and max level is like my tribeca's half power..

i totally wanna dump the top off! but i need a hoist first =D

BLACKTOOTHGRIN Great looking Jeep Cory!

catITguy If the air is coming out cold but not making much difference, sounds like you should just take the top off . Maybe look into a summer top if you have the hard top - that way you are sheltered from the wind and rain but still get the airflow.
