FlG8R01TJ Hey man, if you look around you'll find the general consensus is you will and more importantly your jeep will be more happy with the 4.56 upgrade to put your engine back at where it should be... :-)

97 Gear Questions

I just purchased a 97 Jeep Wrangler with a 4 inch lift and 33 inch remington mud brutes. i have the 4 cyl. 5 speed manual. I cannot use 5th gear because when i shift to 5th it slows down almost 10 mph. but first gear does not have too much power. my top speed it about 60 mph at 3,000 RPM in 4th gear. . Can someone please help me decide what gear ratio to put into my jeep? and anything else that may give me a little more power. thanks
