ayerightaye Webbers need fuel pressure regulators. Our stock fuel pumps give an unsteady 7 psi while the webber needs 3.5 psi. Check the webber site for the model Holley FPR they recomend. It also give instructions on adusting mixture.
Good luck

Replacement Webber carb setup problems

We just had a replacement (aftermarket) webber carb installed on a 1989 6 cyl YJ, because the orriginal was cracked, and now the car bogs on starts, and bogs/backfires real bad if you stomp the gas. I know its running way too rich, but how do i fix this? does the carb have jets that have to be changed out or what? How do i go about dialing the mixture in? -Thanks
