harleydragon tire wear or different brand tires will make more difference than .01 in ratio

harleydragon 4.10 has a 41 tooth ring and a 10 tooth pinion..
4.11 has a 37 tooth ring and a 9 tooth pinion..
the ratios are so very close that there is no difference..do the math,410 versus 411

Exactly!! Mine is not factory. I geared it that way so its possible yours is not factory as well. Someone could have blown a axle and re built it like that. That's what happened to mine.

1st87yj Makes sense. I know 4x4 farm tractors have the front assist tires spin just a little faster than the rear. Thats ware the traction comes from, tires always grabbin for ground.

cakes567 My jeep has 3.08 in the rear and 3.07 in the front. It kinda helps a little off road because the slight difference In the gears will allow eather the one axle to push more or pull more depending on what is in the front or what gears are in the rear. Better traction.

Different ratios

#1: While replacing my front pinion seal I checked the tags on both diffs. my front dana 30 says 4:10 and my rear dana 35 says 4:11 is this correct?
#2: The yolk on the front diff. is marked spicer. is this factory installed brand? Thanks for your replys!!!
