bigkahuna333 What size and make are your tires? I may be interested but would like to know even if you aren't going to sell them.

4Jeepn Looks like you might also have a small spring lift, based on the leaf spring bracket, I don't think stock springs came with those.. anyway..

The issues with the 3" are that you most likey have a few other things like extended gas filler's dropped radiator, etc etc.. thus keep that in mind as you go to lower it..if you plan to stay with some sort of body lift 1" or there about is good. Maybe add a small schackle lift too. Just be sure to pre soak the bolts for a day or two.. pb blaster is great for that.

yes I'm assuming it's a body lift because I looked underneath and the hockey puck looking things are there in certain areas and they measure out to be 3". I really dont know anything about lift kits so I would say this is a body lift. I thought about getting some new bigger tires but the ones on there are basically brand new but maybe I could sell them, hmmmmmmmmm.

yj with a 3" lift

just picked up a 93 YJ about a month ago and it has a 3" lift on it. I would like to lower it down to 2" lift, personally I think it is raised to high and there is to much open space between the tires and frenders. How does one go about making a 3" lift a 2" lift and are there any other obstacles I would run into with the 2" inch hitting certain things underneath? Check out the pic below and see if that can help with an answer.
