Jerry Bransford Any small local driveshaft shop can easily (!) and inexpensively rebuild that CV. Don't waste $$$ by buying a new DS.

jdhallissey Mine did the same thing. It is whole new. Shaft time. Tom woods is 300 bucks. Worth it

whitebuffalo take it to a local driveline shop and they can put a new cv end on it.

snwchris Yea with the pin being damaged might be an issue. You should be able to bring it to a local driveshaft shop in the area to see if can be fixed & rebuilt.

Otherwise I would recommend getting a Front DS from either Coast Driveline, HAD (High Angle Driveline) or Tom Woods.

Front Drive Shaft CV Assembly

I have removed the front drive shaft. What I found is the CV assembly is completely destroyed. Is there anything I can do? To me it seems that the ball centering kit that I would have purchased would have fixed the problem but the pin is damaged and so is everything associated. Will I need to buy a whole new shaft and if so where?
