Turbostixxx Shoe creek in Lovingston, VA. A few campsite along the trail. I've camped there a few times. It's awesome, sleep at the first campsite at the bottom and you are 10 feet from the creek

Where to go camping?

The wife and I have been going to Loft Mountain, but it seems people are preying over the website reserving up all the spots on the weekends 1 day at a time so I can never get a good spot.

Where are the secluded areas that we could set up a small campsite with just our tent and a small fire? I would preferrably like to camp along a trail somewhere secluded.

Any ideas? I miss the desert where you could camp anywhere out there and not be bothered by anyone.

We are in NOVA btw, but are willing to drive if necessary.
