-You need a wheel with 4'' - 3.5'' of back space ( the less BS the more it sticks out)
-You will also need appx. 3'' of lift on your jeep.

|Water Dog||What width of 33" tires (not wheels) are you thinking? The most common wheel size is going to be 15" x 8" and should have a backspace of about 3 1/2" to 4". This will give a little wider stance than stock, and keep over sized tires from rubbing suspension parts when turning. An 8" wide rim would be good for tire widths anywhere in the 10" to 12 1/2" range. BTW, you're not going to be able to run a 33" tire on a stock height TJ.|

Need advise on "ideal" sizes for 33" wheels.
What are the dimensions for offsets, rims, tires needed for 2.4L tj? I want to run 15" procomp steel wheels but there are many sizes to choose from
