mudmangler Could be a couple things: choke, maybe dirty IAC, fuel filter (but I doubt it). You should change the fuel filter anyways because you said it has never been done. it is easy to change the filter

YJ starting issue

My 95 YJ is having starting problems. It turns over (cranks) fine, but requires a minute or so of pumping the gas, waiting then trying again and finally it catches and starts. I have gone to pep boys and had battery replaced, didnt work. Then they checked alternator and watts and that was fine. I did a full tune up, which did nothing. It has never had a fuel filter change, so I am thinking this is next. Any other ideas to try that I can do myself. If it is the fuel filter, is this easy to change at home. Thanks
