cavediverjc OK, I have an update. My guy came through with the .45 brass. I got caught up with the .357 brass as well with the 1200+ pieces I got just the other day. I'm not needing that much .40, but I'm still willing to buy. And I do still need the .308/7.62x51 NATO.

Your god father slowing down at work and not comming up with as much .45 and .40 brass as you need? Ya know, we used to make our .308 brass out of 30-06 brass as it would handle pressure real well and allowed us to trim the ID on the necks to match the chamber real close. Also if you like to work at it and enjoy punishing yourself you can also make .45 brass from 30-06, .243, .308 or any of the .473 head dia. brass but I think I would wait till it came down to that before that much work. Now if you wanted something a little more obscure like 6ppc that I have like a 1000 rounds unfired but you want all of the popular stuff like everyone else does.

You got it. My Godfather isn't planning a mandatory firing qual for his officers for another couple of months, so that supply is having to wait. My dad is wanting a bunch of .45 rounds now for a shoot that's coming up and I'm in a pinch to get him supplied. I've got a local guy here who says he's got 800-1000 pieces of .45 brass. He doesn't know if he's willing to sell it yet, but I'm pushing him pretty hard, so hopefully he'll see things my way.

45 acp

I've got 625 rounds of 45 ACP...used to reload but don't anymore. Some are once fired, some more than that. I don't know how much shipping would be on that weight, I'll try to stop by the Post Office tomorrow (Thursday, 3rd.), and get a figure.

You know what they say about Field Artillery Guys, dontcha?

I just took in a large (1200+ pieces) sum of .357 Mags two days ago, so I won't be needing any more. Thanks though!!

I'm still looking for more:

.308 (7.62x51 NATO)
.45 ACP
.40

s3nt3nc3d I'll keep it in mind too...don't normally save my casings since I prefer to buy new instead of reload em.

That's fair market value, providing they're in GOOD shape. Old, badly tarnished brass doesn't bring in anything except as bulk recyclable brass since most people won't reload it.

Brass Shell Casings.....

I posted a thread in the "Wanted" section, but I think more gun lovers peruse the "OT" section more than the "Wanted" section. I'm wanting to buy your brass shell casings. I'll pay a nickel per pistol casing and a dime per rifle casing. These are current market values for these casings. Here are the casings I'm interested in....

.45 ACP
.40
.357 Magnum
.308 WIN (7.62x51 NATO)

If anyone is needing some extra cash for the holidays, I'd be happy to take your brass off your hands!! (I'll pay for shipping too.)

It's gotta be in GOOD reloadable condition before it's worth the above listed prices. Let me know!!
