03 RUBI These bushing like pieces keep you from tightening the screws to much and breaking the glass. If I remember right Ace Hardware has a good selection of small plastic "thingies" that can be used as is or modified to work. Hope this helps.

TJ Hardtop Rear Glass Little Plastic Parts HELP!?

Okay so when repainting the hardtop on my 2001 TJ I made the mistake of removing the rear window instead of just masking it... I ended up losing (and breaking the other) little plastic parts. They are like a plastic bushing that goes between the rear window lift arm mount and the glass itself. Now I can't tighten the bolts on the lift arms becuase those little bushings hold everythin in the right place. No one seems to have any idea what I'm talking about and despite my countless hours searching for these stupid little parts, I have found nothing. Please Help!!!
