I have the RC 2.5" lift. I does give a little rougher ride than stock, but with the tires I have, it was already a rougher ride than stock. Kit came with coil springs, shocks and transfer case drop. Oh yeah, it was only $299.
It did pull the axles a little off center and now my passenger side tire rubs the control arm a little at full right turn. Nothing that I am worried about. If I ever re-gear it for bigger tires I can add adjustable track bars to my list so that I can re-center the axles.

|jdhallissey||The zone is not that bad. I run zone springs but different shocks. In the vendors forum go sent a pm to scott at Rock 4x. I am a broke college student and I got his in house lift and it is amazing. My jeep rides fine, it flexes like a monster. Everything is in the kit for I think 530 bucks (4in)|

I put a RC Budget Boost and Hydro shocks on my 97... I saw nothing bad about the lift. It rides a little rougher than stock form did, so the RC shocks may be a little firm but it wasn't an unbareable ride by any means.
I did put in an adjustable track bar in the rear because my rear end was sitting over about 3/4 of an inch after the lift. But I have seen some that it didn't affect at all.
If your lift creates a vibration you may have to drop the transfer case (TC drop) or raise the motor (MML) to reduce the driveline angle.
My 97 didn't get a vibration so I didn't do either of the above.

whats wrong with these lifts
im considering a zone offroad or RC lift because they are mad cheap and im a college kid, iv heard people say they are crap and iv searched threads where people have said that you need more parts, so what is wrong with these lifts and what parts are missing from them?
