woods453 Yeah. It's right in the front on the top. There are a some hoses and wires connected to it. Here, I found a photo Jeep wrangler thermostat housing image by SepYJ on Photobucket

05GT-O.C.D. What does it look like, or how can I find it? Is it where the upper radiator hose meets the block?

woods453 It's all over the place because the fan is blowing it around. My thermostat housing has leaked twice including its current leak right now. Check that - it's right in front.

2002Apex water pump, and/or thermostat. make sure radiator drainage is closed. check all hoses. no transmission hose, so thats not it. when i put my radiator in, i replaced the thermostat and didnt remove all the old gasket off from around the housing. had to take everything back apart and scrape it really well. applied black RTV and sealed it up.

Please tell me possible sources of a coolant leak.

Earlier this summer I replaced my radiator as I had been noticing that I was leaking coolant. I never did find that the radiator was actually cracked or leaking, but after reading WF I determined the stock radiator, prone to cracking due to it's design, was the most likely cause.

Well, as some may know, my starter recently went out. Back underneath the TJ I went to discover more fresh green stuff all over. I actually think coolant leaking onto the starter may have helped cause it or the solenoid to fail.

I can't find this freakin' leak. The coolant is literally all over, from on top of the radiator, to the axle, to the suspension. I can't find the actual source, but I think it must be either being picked up and blown by the fan or just the wind from driving.

Any ideas? I tried getting underneath there when it was running, but didn't see anything spraying. It's dripping from somewhere though. Advice on finding a leak, please?

99 4.0L, manual, 55-60k mi.
