One bit of advice I think was useful for me was to sign up for a month of unlimited VIN checks with Autocheck. It cost about the same as what Carfax charges for 3 lookups. It was very enlightening to see details on some of the Jeeps I was considering and wound up not buying because of the info received. There is a lot of deception out there. Jeeps that looked very new sometimes had rebuilt titles or odometer discrepancies that drove me away.

Been very happy with my Wrangler since I got over the initial "hump" of expenses and gained more confidence in it. Took it to Silver Lake Michigan this summer and had a blast. It's also a second "fun" vehicle for me and it has really delivered.

Very sound advice.....because it's exactly the way I have bought my last two Jeeps. Autocheck coupled with Autotrader and Cargurus. Whether you're buying it for a "fun" vehicle or a serious "fun" vehicle. Took some weeks but have been very happy with the purchases. Did I mention the last one was 536 miles away? It may not be on your corner lot....could be. One suggestion I have is to let these guys see the Jeep and the price, you will learn a lot. Not from me, but these guys have a knack for seeing problems from a pic and weigh in on price that could save you some money. Good luck.

What would be a fair price for this car considering it might be in good condition.

Thanks!!!

Beastmaster Warning: It's said that when ever you call a Jeep, a "car" a kitten dies.

LJEEPJ Run the vin#, it will tell a lot about the condition beyond the detailing. The others here are better with the other important points. Good luck.
