distortedtj Larger gears = numarically lower
Smaller gears = numarically higher

IE...

3.07's...smaller gears
4.88's...larger gears

pyro826 techically. the gear RATIO goes up the higher the secondary number is.... I E 4:10 gears will have a higher top end speed, but less acceleration. a 4:88 gear ratio will have a lower top end speed, but more acceleration.
Big tires=lower torque but higher top end speed.
small tires=high torque but lower top end speed.
when regearing because of a lift and bigger tires you are basically compensating

Gearing Question

This is a rather silly question, but I'm confused on some of the particulars of gearing. When people regear for bigger tires, they gear UP, which SHOULD mean less power delivered but less revy, following the rules of gears...but doesn't it mean more power delivered and the same or more revy, because they use it for bigger tires?
