sparky Yep, behind the passenger door. Not a SS whip but a Hustler antenna on there now, about 7'. It will bang around in the tree some.

donnie I have seen one guy that has a ball mount on the rear of the passenger side.
The only drawback, IMHO, to using a antenna that tall is the whipping of the steel whip when on the trails.
I thought about going that way but went with the Cool Tec Ultra mount instead.

CB antenna

Hey all , has anyone mounted a ball mount with spring and 102" whip on a wrangler ? If so , where did you put it ? I did this on my old 1974 CJ on the tailgate as it had a side spare mount and it worked great . I was just wondering if anyone has had any pro's or cons about that set up .
