Finally found it on a MOPAR web site

The site says...Requires Hard Top Wiring Package for installation if vehicle was not built with a hard top originally (see listing below).

Switch and wiring package, includes wiring harness and switches to operate dome light, defroster, wiper and washer. Fits 2 Dr. and 4 Dr. vehicles. If Vehicle is heater only, also order 55111842AB Heater Switch.

Rubiconred Thanks. I will have to check the switch on the console for the rear wiper switch.

Vaultzz As far as I know theres just a plug that the hard top wipers and defrosters plug into usually under the carpet in the back

So there shouldn't be any extra wiring, unless theres no switches for it

Adding a Hardtop to Factory Soft-top JK

Does anyone know if you add a hardtop to a JK purchased with only a soft-top, does it require additional wiring, wiper switch, etc? I kept my hardtop off my 2008 and am thinking of buying a new 2009 with only a soft-top. Will mods be required?
Thanks,
Steve
